Windows 10: Using Project in Kiosk Mode for an interactive project controller board

Hello,We were thinking about getting a Surface Hub 2S, set up in Kiosk mode as a project controller board. We would have this on the ship floor and probably set it to multi-app not sure using Intune. We use Smart Cards at our facility to access computers, which is why I am hoping there is a way to set this up as a non-user to display a read only version of Project Desktop Online views. In reality I would like folks to be able to edit Project online the floor, but only after a prompt asks for the smart card to be inserted, to the program knows who changed/updated what. Windows 10 - 1803 - Kiosk mode - UWP application

I'm currently facing an issue with dev of kiosk mode application in windows 10.

After sleep, the application crash.



Our current setup :

-Windows 10 – 1803, last update

-Hardware : replicable on any devices

-User in kiosk mode with Set-AssginedAccess without password

-Sleep mode on button pressed.



Example with very simple project ( without any code behind ) :

• User logged with kiosk app
• Press button to turn sleep mode on
• Press again button to turn sleep mode off
• Kiosk application crash and restart, with blue screen in between.

Paint 3D Projects not Appearing

Hi,

The location that you've provided is the default file storage for Paint 3D. For us to provide the best resolution possible, we'll be needing additional information:

• Have you tried browsing on the default file storage and open the project files in Open menu? If yes, what happens when opening the project files?
• What do you mean about project.json does not point to any of the projects?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the Windows apps troubleshooter as an initial troubleshooting step and check if the project files are visible in the Open menu. You can also try browsing the project files in the Open menu after running the troubleshooter.
