Windows 10: Using the 'hand' or the 'Move to' option to move an email to the inbox to another label;...

Hello. I have experienced this a few times and despite much reading about it I still understand. Today I used the 'hand' to move 2 emails to a chosen label, but they remained in my inbox . So I did more reading and was told that if I ADDED an email to a label my understanding that when I use the hand to grab it The email will stay in the Inbox... That kind of make it clear. So I went to my inbox and ticked those 2 emails and used the icon 'Move to' and moved them again to the other label. So far so good; as they were not in the inbox anymore.But, I still had one more email in my inbox re

Stop Gmail from labeling incoming mail

I am using Windows 10 & check my email through the Vivaldi browser.
When I get emails, they always have some sort of Label: Social, Updates, Forums or Promotions.
I'd like to stop having my emails labeled.

I've gone through these steps:

• Logged into my Gmail account through my browser
• Clicked the gear icon in the upper right & chose "See All Settings"
• Clicked on the 'Inbox' tab
• In the 'Importance Markers' section,
  I selected 'No markers' & 'Use my past actions to predict which messages are important to me'
• In the 'Filtered Mail' section,
  I selected 'Don't override filters'
• I then clicked 'Save Changes'

But emails still arrive w/a label attached to them. Am I missing/doing something wrong?

 

hands free cable and email inbox

W8 HTC. When using the hands free cable and trying to check my emails inbox, the screen always goes back to the active call screen. if i remove the hads free cable and use speaker instead, i can check my inbox with no problem. it seems to be a bug. anuone
else got the same issue?

I'm using windows 10 and I cant delete emails in my inbox?
