    Hello there, I want to ask, so my company loaned me a laptop for working but, the windows isn't activated, I've actually been using it for a few months.----My question is can I use the laptop?

    Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    I agree with this. No one is stopping me from using my purchased 2007 Office. Works just great for my needs 11 years later.

    I can understand why MS would want to shed many versions of window support for office that doesn't play well with Win 10 coding. I'm all for moving forward to create a better user experience. Might finally upgrade and keep Office 2019 for 10 years until 2029 to make it worth it again. *Big Grin Using unactivated windows 10 for working because my office loaned me a laptop :D
