Windows 10: Using Windows Media Legacy Player in Windows 11

When playing Music , Media Player opens, seek feature works. Playing the next tune a 2nd time, the Seek Feature will not work, it Re-starts the song from the beginning. If I re-boot my PC, play music, seek works, but only for 1 playback.....2nd playback, same issue.

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)

Windows Media Player 11 Final for Windows XP Released
