I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 on boot drive C: I still have my old boot drive from my previous Windows 10 machine. Can I install my old boot drive in my laptop as drive D: and use the "Move Applications" Utility to move my apps from my old boot drive to my new boot drive? If yes, do I have to do a physical install of the old boot drive in the machine, or is connecting it via USB allowed?Thank you in advance.

Check my recommended programs thread. But I haven't updated it in a while but it's still a good list.

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
