Windows 10: UsoCLient.exe ScanInstallWait doesn't works anymore in windows 10 May 2020.

it seems that UsoClient.exe do not return anything correct on command line

UsoClient StartScan
UsoClient ScanInstallWait

but moreover

UsoClient whatever

UsoClient bizmutFoo

do not produce error and no output.

I am questionning myselt about whether PowerShell module PSWindowsUpdate works too.

Usoclient scaninstallwait doesn't function properly, its only checks for the updates in server and doesn't download,need cmd which downloads the update from update server

hi even after trying all the above steps still getting the same issue.

Fyi... we have created a GPO for update policy and set the automatic update settings to check and notify users to download and install updates for network bandwidth normalisation and we are creating a scheduled task to execute usoclient scaninstallwait to
download the updates and get things installed. we could see the tasks getting executed but only checking for new updates and not downloading the updates,

 

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?
