Windows 10: UVC camera support for Windows 10 IoT

Does Windows 10 IoT support UVC cameras for ARM processors?There was a post from 2016 that said "not yet".How about now? If not now, when?If supported, can someone provide a link to the SDK?Thanks,Cliff

thanks for the reply. we are building a product ( a measurement tool) that uses a camera to do a data matrix barcode scan (imaging a scope used in medical device). so we plan to write an app with Windows 10 universal platform so that it can be deployed
on all devices (PC, phone, IoT device) for different product lines we have.

The app is working fine on a windows 10 desktop with a UVC camera, but blocked by this issue on the phone. and we are going to evaluate it on a IoT device such as Rasberry pi 3. I have seen this IoT project - Facial recognition door, that uses a common
USB camera.

so I am wondering why UVC camera is not support on the windows 10 mobile? is there something we could do to get around this? is there a plan to support in the near future?

I tried with my uvc cameras with Rasberry pi 3, all of them are connected and detected by windows 10 IoT core. Some of them can be previewed just fine with capture element, but others are showing a green screen in the capture element. do you know
what might be the cause of the green screen?

In addition, there are a lot of low cost miniature and specialized cameras available now for industrial, medical and surveillance applications. Common industrial cameras include borescopes used for inspection of inaccessible parts such
as automotive and aerospace engine internal components, cylinder bores, pipelines, rifle bores, etc. Medical applications include various endoscope cameras for ear, nose, throat, etc. Recently more of these cameras have become available with USB/UVC interfaces
without drivers for use with Phones such as Android vs. Apple. I am surprised that Microsoft has neglected this opportunity, particularly the high-end medical market, with what it is promoting as a "Universal OS" when it is supported on its PC and IOT platforms.

Anyway if there are no plans to support UVC on Windows 10 Mobile, do you provide support for partners developing drivers?
