Windows 10: UXTheme Patcher (latest) dont works

Hi there,

I would like to install Alien Byte's Tron theme, but i fail every time :S

The x64 files didnt work... when i restarted the computer the default windows 10 theme appeared.. I tried to delete the 'del' files from the system32 , cuz i hoped it will help but it wasnt. So i decided to try to install the theme with the x86 files.. i successfully put them to the right folder, i restarted my computer and i got a black-flashing screen.. and i had to use system restore :\

I dont know what to do can anyone help me please? :C

Windows Update **** Update KB3097617 fails to install with error 0x8007045b

I checked the SFC log and it´s showing that uxtheme.dll, themeui.dll, Explorerframe.dll and uxinit.dll are corrupted. Seems I´am guilty of using non-official microsoft themes, so if you use UXTheme patcher this update doesn´t work.

 

Windows 10 won't let me log in after update

In case anyone ever sees this, I think I figured it out for myself.

I used UXtheme patcher for custom Windows themes. I had to reboot in safe mode using the advanced menu options (shift + restart from the login screen), navigate to C:\Windows\Resources\themes and then delete my custom themes. Not fun, but maybe it'll help
