    Valorant FPS drop after installing the cumulative updates for Windows 10 version 20H2


    Basically, I am experiencing huge fps drops while playing Valorant, and this problem has started ever since I updated my Windows 10 20H2 with the 2022-01 updates KB5008876 and KB5009543. The game used to run smoothly and I even downgraded my Intel display driver after a similar inconvenience I faced in Sept. 2021, and tried doing the same but there has been no change. I am low-key considering updating my Windows to the 21H1 version, but just am not sure if it will solve the problem or not. My graphics - Intel UHD Graphics 620 version - 27.20.100.8853

    FPS drops in gaming applications

    Hi , the title says it all . I have been experiencing random fps drops recently in gaming applications such as Valorant and AimLab . it goes from around 150 to 30 fps after 15 mins of gaming session .
    I believe it started occuring after i updated to the latest Windows Build . I have unfortunately deleted the previous windows installation files in a bid to save space so rollback isn't an option .
    If anyone could help me to figure out what the issue is and help solve it ...I would be very grateful .

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
