Valorant Lag

How can I address the issue of the game Valorant lagging in the first few minutes/rounds. I just bought this laptop with the latest processor about 6 months back, it should not be lagging. It worked smoothly in the first few months but has started lagging now. I have tried to run various troubleshooters, but they have not provided a solution. Here are the details of my system configuration:

• Operating System: Windows 11
  
• Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U 1.30 GHz
  
• RAM: 8 GB
  
• System Type: 64-bit operating system
  

Any guidance or recommendations to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes, this could be due to two operating system installed in your computer. Just to make sure this is not the case, I suggest you to try the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type msconfig and press enter.

3. Click the "boot" tab and check if there are any other operating system listed.

4. In addition, change the timeout time to 3 seconds(default)
