    Variable Brightness Issue

I have an HP Omen laptop running Win10.

    • OS Build 19041.572
    • Intel i9 processor
    • 32gb RAM
    • 64-bit system
    • Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 driver version 456.38

When I full-screen a video, or game, or any kind of media, the screen brightness will change.

This is an issue since I do not want to be always be having to adjust brightness between full-screen media and anything else on my computer.

I cannot, for the life of me, find out how to make this STOP.

I have spoken with Microsoft support about this, I have done search after search.... I do NOT have adaptive brightness on nor is that even an option I have available to me on my computer. I have tried changing my graphics card settings multiple times, and nothing.

I took a video of the issue. During the video I made I have a YouTube video full-screened on a second monitor and when I click on my browser the brightness goes up, and when I click off the browser onto my desktop the brightness goes down.

Someone, please, help me turn off whatever this is and make it STOP. It's driving me up the wall and is utterly infuriating.

    :)
