Windows 10: Various BSOD Errors - Page Fault, IRQL, KMODE

Hi!I've been having extensive issues with BSODs on my Windows 10 Home PC. Mostly, the errors have been tied to memory usage or driver faults, and I'm at my wit's end when it comes to troubleshooting. Below I'll list out a couple of sections - first the parts list of the PC, second the errors themselves, along with a OneDrive link to a ZIP folder with 5 dump files all from the same night! that I hope someone smarter than me can analyze to see what's causing the instability. Third will be the troubleshooting I've performed, and fourth will be some questions I have about paths forward in terms

Frequent BSoDs-KMode Exception Error Not Handled, Page Fault in Non-paged Area

Original title: Frequent BSoDs

I've been getting partial video corruption on the BSoD for some of the errors that I have been getting.

Errors received:

KMode Exception Error Not Handled

Page Fault in Non-paged Area

(I'm sure there is at least one more that I am forgetting).

My hardware is old-ish, so it's likely an incompatible driver, and/or fried hardware. I never overclock, but, as I said, it's pretty old (AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 5400+, ATI Radeon HD5770, 4GB RAM)

A lot of this also happened back with Win7, too. It's not a Win10 thing.

 

BSOD W/ Various Errors During Install Attempt via USB Media

I am attempting to Reinstall Windows 10 on a HP Zbook 15 that had recently crashed. The SSD has been formatted, and the RAM has been replaced with one brand new 8GB stick.

With no OS installed, I updated the boot order to start with the USB and restarted the machine.

Once restarted, I get the first install screen of Language, time/currency etc. and the "Install now" button.

Seconds after hitting install now, I get BSOD errors every time.

Various stop codes as well. Examples below...

SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

Any thoughts on what could be causing these BSOD errors?

 

BSoD error "page fault in non=page area"

I have recently been getting the BSoD error "page fault in non-page area" - three times today.

I also had a "Memory management" error.

Other issues that may or may not be related:

• MS Word in Office 365 has started loading automatically on startup w. blank page. Gives an error about the basic document template when I try to close. By opening any existing document, I can then close and exit.
• Firefox and AVG secure browser tabs are freezing - started today.

I found an earlier response to this error that suggested changes to the virtual memory settings. I checked mine and it is set for Windows to manage on all drives.

I have a copy of the memory dumps in a zip file if that would be helpful
