  1. Various BSODs - Drivers all up-to-date

Hi team,I've been getting more and more frequent BSODs and game crashes - particularly when playing NBA 2k24. BSOD are always different sources. Have previously taken the PC into a specialist who basically fresh installed windows. This fixed the issue for a short amount of time but issue has resurfaced. I also conducted the same fix back in March.Have got the dump files to share but only since the system was wiped two weeks. Can also share System Specs if requested.I5 - 12400FRTX407016GB RAMThanks,Dan

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:

  3. Various BSOD Errors Help

    Hey all,

I've received multiple BSOD errors the past 2 days after rebuilding my PC. I've been trying to figure out the issue.

These are the few BSOD messages I remember seeing:

    • DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (multiple times)
    • CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (one time)
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (one time)
    • WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (multiple times)
Here's a link to the dmp files and system information: WindowsIssue

    Steps I've taken:

    • fully updated drivers
    • applied all Windows updates
    • Removed unnecessary hardware
    • Monitored CPU/GPU temps (log file on temps during last crash in share)
    Any help would be appreciated.

Various BSODs all hinting towards drivers?

    Hey,

step by step, you are right.
So here is a screenshot of the tool you recommended. Should I update in the tool or update by hand from the motherboard website? (Motherboard website included in the screenshot).
A new BIOS-version was published as well and seems to be stable according to some reddit guys. Should I update that as well?

I attached the BSOD dmps as well.
