Windows 10: Various BSODs, tried everything, no luck

Hello!I have randomly been getting BSODs for about a week now on my laptop ThinkPad E480. On some days, I don't get any, on some other days 5. The stopcodes I have seen is usually critical process died, kernel page error, unrecoverable error, and something about power.This has started happening when I had Win10 installed, so in order to eliminate the possibility of this being a Windows issue, I was using my Ubuntu installation to see if the same happens. Indeed, it crashed as well.Next, I did a fresh install to Win11 from an USB stick and the same issues are repeating. All of my drivers are

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

Various BSOD Errors Help

Hey all,

I've received multiple BSOD errors the past 2 days after rebuilding my PC. I've been trying to figure out the issue.

These are the few BSOD messages I remember seeing:

• DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (multiple times)
• CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (one time)
• IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (one time)
• WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (multiple times)

Steps I've taken:

• fully updated drivers
• applied all Windows updates
• Removed unnecessary hardware
• Monitored CPU/GPU temps (log file on temps during last crash in share)

Any help would be appreciated.
