  1. Various Different BSODS - Can't find a pattern

    Hi,

    I've been having trouble dealing with a number of different BSODS over the past month or so. The PC suffereing from the BSODS is a custom one that I built about two months ago, the BSODS came in a few days after I built it.

    I've been trying to figure out if there's a pattern to the blue screens but I just can't figure it out, sometimes they happen when I'm gaming and sometimes they happen when I'm using Chrome, sometimes I can go multiple days without a blue screen and sometimes I get blue screens multiple times 20 minutes apart. To be clear, my PC posts and is totally useable when not taking into account the blue screens, I've ran cinebench, aida64 and unigine heaven and the temperatures are fine, the CPU temps stay in the mid 70's and the GPU temps stays in the mid 60's when under load.

    Aside from that I've tried adressing these blue screens head on but to be honest I just go so confused with what was going wrong that there's no point in even explaining what I did. So, I'm posting this question in the hope of getting some help and to basically start from scratch in addressing this problem.

    Here is the Onedrive link, included is five MiniDump files along with one Dump file titled "MEMORY", my system information is included as well.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

    :)

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Various Different BSODS - Can't find a pattern :)

    Various BSOD

    I've been experiencing various BSODs and they all seem to be coming from mostly different things, I've been struggling because I'm not sure if it's that the harddrive isn't working properly or if it's something causing all these things to occur. The list
    of the BSODs and their respective causes taken from BlueScreenView are as follows:

    1 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA - caused by fwpklclnt.sys

    1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Caused by USBPORT.SYS

    1 KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - win32kfull.sys

    3 IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - All caused by ntoskrnl.exe

    3 SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION - One by NTFS.SYS, another by afd.sys and the last y ntoskrnl.exe

    I've also included a link to a folder with all the dmp files Uploads

    First off this is what I went through once I installed them 11.1 drivers . BSOD till I had to reinstall the OS .
    It seems that some maybe missing the point here this STARTED for you after you installed the 11.1 drivers and then as it would seem you are getting them after a clean install of the old drivers . Correct ? If so have you wiped the HDD and did a clean install of the OS ?
    If not then I would do this before thinking your cards are going out .
