Windows 10: Various Updates for Windows 10 isn't progressing.

Hello,


There are several updates going on in my laptop, which you can see in a screenshot I uploaded. But neither of this is actually progressing, especially the 2019-06 Cumulative Update (KB4503327). This update already started yesterday, and it will be the third day tomorrow, without any progress on any update.


My Internet speed was fairly speedy. And there are no files currently being downloaded that may interfere with the download speed.


Do I need to wait more patiently on this thing? Or do I need to take action about this? Last time I had a Windows Update, it messes my computer. I can't also talk to support because they are currently closed.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Managed to solve it... here´s how I did it just in case anyone else has the same problem...

->Settings

->Printers & scanners

->Add a printer or scanner

->The printer that I want isn´t listed

->Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings

->Use an existing port: USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)

->Choose printer

->Use the driver that is currently installed

->Type printer name

And done... =P

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
