Windows 10: VBA "subscript out of range" error #9

Gentlemen:


At about 1200 noon Pacific Time, I demonstrated my question to a Microsoft Technician who used Quick Assist to examine my system and to watch the error occur. It is case # 100 516 6344.


I have a VBA macro which opens 6 Excel files properly.


Moments later the macro which usually closes the same six files does not work. Instead is balks at the first file on the list and gives the message "subscript out of range" error #9.

VBA missing

VBA is part of MS Office and continues to be supported within currently-supported MS Office versions.

If another application requires VBA then it ought to provide it. I can only suggest that you ask Corel how you were supposed to get VBA - perhaps it was an installation option that you did not notice.

Note that VBA is not the same thing as Visual basic. VBA is an Office component, Visual basic is a programming application.
