Windows 10: VCOMP140.DLL error

Hi, I downloaded the Visual C++ Redistributable and it doesn't seem to function I downloaded a game and the error missing "VCOMP140.DLL" is popping up what do you suggest me to do? i even run and repaired Visual C++ Redistributable but the error is still popping up im using sony vaio

VCOMP140.DLL Error

yes, i am having an error message throught steam saying that i need to reinstall steam music maker free steam edition and when i try to launch it i get the vcomp140.dll error message it states to uninstall and reinstall the application that that might fix the problem, tbh it doesnt is there a way i can fix this to get the application to work properly again?

Thanks so much; like you I spent hours trying to fix an update error "missing VCOMP140.DLL" file when updating a perfectly good running Mediago application. (That's the last time I'll do that). Thanks again for stopping the bleeding. Your the best. ;-)
