Windows 10: VCRUNTIME140.dll missing with Windows11

I am setting up a brand new machine and receiving the VCRUNTIME140.dll missing or corrupt error. Having read through solutions here, I:- ran the sfcscannow and the report was error free- uninstalled and reinstalled MS Visual C++ 64 bit and x86 versions, restarted, reinstalledError popped up after the restart, though it did so only after I started Chrome to start doing application downloads.Please inform me of what information you might need beyond the above.

How to solve MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll ?

If you're using Windows 64-bit, download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Visual C++ redistributable package.

• vc_redist.x64.exe (x64 installer)
  
• vc_redist.x86.exe (x86 installer)
  
• Missing VCRUNTIME140.DLL, VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL, MSVCP140.DLL

msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll missing

Hi,

I have this issue msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll missing windows 10 and I tried to repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable

I even tried to repair the 2012 but still got msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll when trying to install a third party app.

I also uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable and reinstalled it.

Same result as the repair method.
