.NET CLR.dll & System32\KernelBase.dll issues after 2004 Update

If you're able to complete the above steps it can help other viewers.
The crystal disk and HD sentinel are instantaneous results.
The Sea Tools and / or Samsung long generic can be performed overnight.

In Ten Forums we see drives that display excellent SMART (attempts to predict failure) that display 90 - 100% but the drive is in very poor condition or has failed long generic testing.

If you can post these it would be a useful teaching thread.

Replacing the drive followed by reinstalling windows should fix the dll, bsod, failure to repair install, etc.

I can't run Seagate or Samsung tools as they crash with KernelBase.dll.
