Windows 10: Ventoy multiboot problem on Acer Nitro 5

I bought an Acer Nitro 5 last July with Linux Linpus installed on it. This one does not suit me I decided to install Windows from a USB medium with a license.

Everything went well. I subsequently deleted this distribution.

A few days ago I installed Ventoy (a multiboot utility) on a USB key, outside when I arrive in the Bootmenu, I see my USB key, but it is named Linpus Lite even though it has been formatted and has now from Ventoy. No worries with this one, it is well recognized and it is a new one (SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1).

So I went to consult the entries with bcdedit / enum firmware, then I deleted the remaining entry for the old Linux with that command : bcdedit /delete {identifier}

Except that unfortunately when I get to the bootmenu, my key is well recognized, but it appears to be Linux Limpus.

I wonder if this is not from the BOOT folder contained in the Windows EFI folder.

When i list files and see content of some of them, I see that there is some lines where there is Linux content as shown below.

Realtek Audio Console on Acer Nitro 5

Hello all. I recently noticed that my Acer Nitro 5 was no longer detecting any headset devices and I am unable to get any input via the mic (and have also borrowed other headsets from the original one I had, all of which have the single 3.5mm jack which
works with the Acer Nitro 5's single audio input). I am also only getting this when I pull up the Realtek Audio Console:



What steps should I take to resolve this issue?

Hi TN. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

Go into BIOS/UEFI Setup to see if you can set the onboard chip to default. You can power on while pressing the Acer F1 or ESC key. Older models may use F2. This may be listed on the BIOS splash screen.

If you don't get a display for the BIOS even, then I'd reinstall the Nvidia card and properly disable it in BIOS setup before removing it this time.

Black Screen on Acer Nitro 5

Hello, I have been using my new acer nitro 5 and I just got a problem on it. I updated my computer, then I signed in and there was a black screen with my cursor. After a little bit, it showed the tool bar and my background but not my apps. If I put my
cursor over the toolbar, there is just a loading symbol and it never stops loading. Please I really want help so I can use my computer again.
