Windows 10: Verification code via SMS not received, possible hijack

Up until recently, I've been able to get verification code via SMS whenever such is needed when I login to a particular Microsoft service. However, since the last two days, I haven't gotten such whenever I request it via my phone. I've been using e-mail verification instead.When I tried it today, I got a verification code -- but from a local number and not Microsoft, and it obviously looked like from a spammer i.e., clear wrong spelling and tell-take signs of such.I tried to register another number, but I now got a message that my country, the Philippines, isn't supported. Account Verification Code Not received

Firstly, I would like to suggest, as a security measure, that you resend the image editing any personal information that may be appearing on it.

Do the phone numbers where the SMS messages with the verification code are being sent seem to be correct? If yes, check if your SMS app has a SPAM box, I already had this problem of not receiving verification codes on my phone because the messaging app was filtering the sender and throwing the message directly into the app's SPAM box.

 

Never received any verification code from Microsoft via SMS.

I wanna ask, why am I never receiving any verification number to my phone? Even though it's crystal clear that my number currently used for 2-step authentication is correct. (I already waited and trying every hours, even days and it never worked)

Is there any possibility that Microsoft blocked my phone number so I couldn't receive any verification code? If so how funny is that.
