The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

 

New emails link to old emails and they all show in the inbox

If you have configured more than one user account in the Windows Mail app then, I would suggest you to switch the user accounts and check the emails in the inbox.

Just to clarify, would you like to receive the Junk email from a certain site in your Inbox instead? If yes, you can follow the steps in the support page on how to add a domain in the Safe Sender list.

However, if you're using a different email provider in your Mail app, you might want to check with their support on how to change your email settings since the Mail app only syncs the actions from your email.
