Windows 10: 'verify your account' stuck

    'verify your account' stuck


    I came back to my computer -- not the one I am using -- to find a blue screen, with a 'verify your identity' process ... I don't know why.

    However, I am no stuck. It keeps saying 'restart the process' ... but there seems to be no way to do this. Re-booting does not help.

    I am brought immediately to the same blue screen. I cannot get it to send me a code, either by email or by text. I don't know how

    to get out of this. How can a company like Microsoft put people into this position?

    Have you checked that your account is "Verified"?

    I have to re-verify my account each time a new build becomes available, otherwise it will not show up in my update list.

    Forum users with Hotmail/Outlook/Exchange account

    The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).
