Windows 10: "Verifying application requirements. This may take a few moments."

After a Windows update overnight, I am receiving the following error when I attempt to click on the Hubspot icon in the taskbar: "Verifying application requirements. This may take a few moments." This pops up for a millisecond. Then disappears in to never never land.If I go to the Hubspot website, where I am normally automatically logged in to Hubspot Academy, there appears to be a firewall. I am clueless as to what to do. This is why I absolutely detest these upgrades!So here I sit, unable to continue training for work....Any help out there? TIA

@Maban - does GPU-Z fail the same way for you the way it does for me? I.e. total system freeze/lockup, requiring a hard reset?

@W1zzard - I will try the suggested steps later today, as I am not near that PC at the moment.

It must be difficult when things do not work as expected.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to check whether the applications are compatible or not from the manufactures website. If these applications are compatible, I suggest you to run the application in compatible mode and check if it helps to
resolve the issue.

Please follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Program
• Click on Properties
• Click on Compatibility tab
• Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
