Windows 10: Verifying microsoft account problem

Hello,


i have trouble logging into my microsoft account. It kept telling me to fix my microsoft account. The exact thing it wrote is “we need to fix your microsoft account most likely your password changed. Select here to fix it in shared experiences settings.”

So i went to settings, opened shared experiences and on the account settings, it wrote “some of your accounts require attention” and there’s a “fix now” button under it.

Here is the problem. When i clicked on the “fix now” button, a pop up window appeared and it stayed at “just a moment” sentence with the loading logo. It won’t go any further than this. I waited for about 30-40min but still it stayed the same; at “just a moment” window.

I’ve tried some of the solution i found here but i couldn’t fix my problem. Those things i’ve tried was:

1shared experience - i tried turning “nearby sharing” and “share across device” off and restart the computer. It didn’t worked at all, i opened shared experiences and i saw the settings was reset; showing all i’ve turned off was turned back on.

2logging off- i tried logging off and logging back in but still, it didn’t work.

3 microsoft account troubleshooter- i’ve installed and run the troubleshooter; but it didn’t work either.

4 verifying microsoft account- i tried to verify my microsoft account by going to settings/account/your info; and still, when i clicked the “verify” button, the same “just a moment” pop up window appeared and it stayed that way.

Also, I would suggest you to switch current Microsoft User Account to Local Account and then create new user profile and then try signing into that account using your Microsoft account and check if
that helps. Please follow the steps given below.

How to update windows Live Accounts into Local Accounts in windows 8.1

  First go to the Start Menu and start typing “Account” you will find the option “Your account settings”
  
• 
  Click and launch the setting page.
  
• 
  Click on start menu and go to account settings.
  
• 
  Go to Your accounts.
  
• 
  Click “Disconnect” Windows 8.1 account settings
  

Note: This will launch a prompt, you will need to confirm your current Windows Live account password. Also note by switching to your local accounts,

Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

Hello Ken,

Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

I also run all related troubleshooters:

• Windows Update
• Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
• Microsoft Accounts

No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.
