Windows 10: Version.dll

Hello ! I have recently re-installed a game after a long time and when I try to launch it I get this error saying I am missing version.dll.Things I already tried to fix it: - reinstalled the game;- reinstalled Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2019 for both 64 and 86;- ran the game as admin;- updated windows and graphics driver;- disabled the full screen optimization;I also checked the windows system 32 and SysWOW64 folder and there is a version.dll file in them so I'm really lost to why this error is happening.

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

Important Note: Do not, under any circumstances, download the d3dx9_30.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of different reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea.
