    Very bad audio quality when I try to chat my friend on Discord with a bluetooth earphone


    So I connected my AirPods Pro 2 to my PC but when I enter voice chat on Discord the sound quality is so bad it's like the first phone Graham Bell invented. Also I tried turning off handsfree mode but then the earphones don't work at all there's no sound at all. Is there really no way to use my AirPods to chat with my firend on Windows?

    Bad sound quality via bluetooth headphones on windows 11

    Similar to many other questions about this problem. But I noticed that everything works fine on my Android phone and on my Linux laptop.

    Device: "Pixed buds pro" (and all other headphones as far as I uderstand).

    Windows: 11 (and 10).

    Steps to reproduce:

    1) Run game or play music.

    2) Run Discord or any other app (Whats App, Telegram, ...) with voice channels.

    3) Enter a voice channel or make an audio call.

    4) Then Windows changes sound quality to bad (unbelievably awful) on both: game (or music) and voice chat.

    Ubuntu 22.04 works fine in this scenario which allows to play games and talk to friends in Discord (or any other app) without sound quality loss.

    So, the question is: how to fix the issue on Windows or when Windows developers fix it? Seems like the issue is many many years old.

    Audio quality drops when using microphone

    Whenever I join a discord call, the audio quality of my headphones that are really good drop down to absolutely horrible audio quality.

    I know about the bluetooth device having stereo and hands free mode but after i switched back to wired earphones and headset, the audio still drops to lower quality

    Bluetooth earphones showing as two devices.

    If I connect my Bluetooth earphones to my laptop, it shows up as two devices. But the audio gets separated. e.g. I used the Stereo to play music or YouTube on one tab, works fine, then if join in on a discord call or a zoom conference, my Spotify or YouTube
    audio just disappears. If I switch to the hands-free the audio quality takes a freefall dive. Any solutions?
