Windows 10: very high problem with winrar crypt files

Greetings.I send here the same question that I sent to the support of the winrar program.I downloaded some files compressed with *.rar format and divided into multiple files and encrypted from an server. I have them stored in some of my hard drives. To be precise 5 hard drives. After some time I noticed that all the files downloaded from that server changed their password by themselves.How was this possible? I have read your guides and found that such a thing could not be done with your program.The site was shut down on April 1st. the files were no longer usable on April 2nd.Has anyone modifie

• Were there any updates made on your computer prior to this concern?
• Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the exact error message?
• What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve this?

Crypted files

When trying to open my pictures today, it appears that they have all been "crypted", they now show up as Adobe files. Adobe won't open them because their crypted. They are pictures transferred from the phone and/or my camera on my last computer and transferred
to the new computer. Transfer was in April '16 and they were ok, but something has happened since. Are they lost? Should I remove them from the computer. Someone suggested going into properties and removing the encryption, but it doesn't show as bein checked
in properties. Thanks in advance.
