Windows 10: Very odd Explorer.exe error. Initial left click problem.

Hello all. 1st Ever install of Windows 11 2 weeks ago and having a mare with Explorer.exe.If I left click on the icon in the taskbar after starting the PC, it restarts Explorer.exe. Background flashes black, toolbars disappear for a brief moment and pop back on. Left click again and it restarts the app once again. Continues to do this, unless......I right click on the icon and left click on "File Explorer" and hey presto, it opens and the left click function starts working as normal.Tried everything including re-installing W11. But it continues this strange behaviour. Any ideas anyone?Many tha

REGSVR32.exe error message saying can't use memory location 0x00------014

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click Internet Explorer
performance.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

6. Check if issue persists.

Also, I suggest you to check if the computer is using its full memory.

• Press Windows key + R and type msconfig.
• Go to Advance options and check if you have chosen use Maximum memory.
• If not, I suggest you to place a check mark, restart the computer and check if that helps.

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

"This file can't be previewed" problem in explorer
