Seagate 1tb platter when??

I cant find a 1TB single platter internal drive to buy anywhere or listed on the Seagate website

 

how can i get my windows 10 OS to recognize Seagate 1TB ard drive?

I probably caused this myself by terminating a Format process on my Seagate external HD before it finished. Since then my Dell Laptop running Windows 10 would not recognize the Seagate drive. I did get another computer to see it but listed its volume as
32 GB - the hard drive is 1TB. Does anyone have an idea to help me with this before I throw this thing in the trash?

 

Seagate Drive, can't be formatted (Works in RAID, weird issue) [solved]

I've got a seagate 1TB drive, that i've been using just fine for about a year in a USB 3.0 RAID enclosure.
This 1TB drive *STILL WORKS FINE* in this enclosure, IF its used as part of RAID 0, RAID1 or JBOD. It has no corruption issues or data loss.

This drive has passed the 'long' test in Seatools.

Running as a single drive on multiple PC's however, it just will not format. The other 1TB drive works just fine.

Formatting fails in windows with various errors.

Cannot format because drive is offline
Cannot write to first NTFS sector
Third party apps dont work either :/
