Windows 10: very random black screen for 1 second and opens again.

i am very confused by what is happening, i just build a new computer specs below :


I9-9900K

RTX 2070 super aorus

Z390 elite

16gb ram two slots

cooler master liquid cooling 240L


i have my windows up to date so as i my motherboard drivers and installed, installed geforce experience and downloaded my GPU latest driver, what happened from the start that i had a black screen for 1 second and then comes to normal again, i changed the HDMI cable and bought a new one, i had 1 day not doing that black screen but the next day it randomly did it once, i changed the socket to another one in my gpu, it happened once again, i changed the monitor my monitors are samsung 60Hz it happened again, i checked reliability monitor i have seen one critical event saying :

Black Screen, Screen Flickers, Random Freezes

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to update the Display drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

Random 1-3 second black screens when playing Battlefield 1.

I've just done a complete DDU and loaded on 17.12.2 and now I'm getting the random black screens on BFBC2 instead of the hard crashes I was experiencing with that game.

Random Black Screen

I've already been over there helping him with this one... It's a random black screen for a few seconds, then back to normal. I've tried uninstalling drivers, he tried it. Removed and reseated card, still did it... Does anyone think that this might be an issue with his PCI-e x16 slot???
