Hi, my Pc has started randomly getting very slow in an odd manner recently, it takes a lot to open programs all of sudden and it simply won't work properly until reboot. This has happened 3 times. Today it just crashed whilst I was playing, Watchdog error. I can't seem to open the dump and I also doubt I would understand it, I'll link the dump file here.

Not sure what more to add, It all started when I tried importing a Unity project but I doubt that was the cause. Dump

    :)

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

  3. Shutdown time increases after windows update

    Hello G.Paz,

Thanks for your time and suggestion.

I have tried your recommendations but didn't decrease the shutdown timing. However, below solution worked for me :-

    "Disable Fast Startup

Reach to Power options as in previous step > Click Choose what the power buttons do > Click Change settings that are currently unavailable > Scroll down to Shutdown settings and uncheck Turn on fast startup > Click Save changes"

    Thanks and regards,

    Windows 10 up time

    Hi Martin,

The main reason why "Up time" won't reset, even you restart your computer, is the fast startup (enabled by default).

Note: If fast startup is enabled, shutdown isn't really shutdown, but something closer to "log the user off and then hibernate".

To reset the "Up time", we suggest disabling the fast startup. To do so, please follow the steps below:

    • Open Power Options.
    • Click Choose what the power buttons do.
    • Under Shutdown settings, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended).
    • Click Save changes.

Please post back with the result for further assistance.
