  1. Very Slow Wireless Connection [Lenovo AIO C40-05]

    Hello!

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, about three weeks ago, I'm having a serious Wifi issue. The download speed dropped from 20Mb/s to less than 1Mb/s, and my upload speed pretty much did the same.

When running Windows' troubleshooter for my Wifi connectivity, it says: "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding."

I then did the ipconfig things, like ipconfig flushdns and ipconfig registerdns in the command prompt (with admin rights): I gained like half a mb/s. I launched a namebench scan to see which DNs servers work best for me. After three hours, I finally got the adresses and selected them as default DNS adresses in ITP4 preferences. I gained 5mb/s for about 2 minutes, then it was gone. I reset my router: nothing. I ran an update scan for all my drivers (took me a long time), and still, my problem wasn't fixed. I can't load even the most basic games or download movies, this is seriously getting on my nerves.

My computer is a Lenovo AIO C Series 40-05, I bought it about three months ago.
    Anybody can help me? Please?

  2. Wired Mouse Lag

    Hi there,

When I first updated my computer (Lenovo PC All-In-One, Series C

C40-05 AIO) to the recent windows updates, I had odd cursor lags. The pointer doesn't move smoothly at all, it was only jumping which made my work very difficult to further proceed. It even happens while the
workload is very low. Also, I have the latest Windows 10 Updates installed and the latest drivers as well.

Could you please help me in resolving this terrible issue?

    Thanks,

    Bjsd

  3. Performance glitche after Windows Update

This was an automatic update to a Lenovo C40-05 All-in-One.

This computer was in service approximately 6 weeks and to the best of my knowledge did not have any other updates. I ended up using the Recovery feature and that sort of cleared it up, but the wireless adaptor disappeared.

Later I found on the Lenovo Forum that one needs to do a normal shutdown and then disconnect the AC power to the power supply module and hold down the C40-05 All-in-One's power on button for 30 seconds. Then reconnect the AC and restart the C40-05
to get the wireless adaptor to work again. Based on the Forum this is true on a number of Lenovo models.
