Windows 10: VERY STRANGE OCCURANCE/PROFILE SWITCHAROO

Hello all, I might happen to be tech support/customer care remotely......… but trust me when I say that I just created my first gmail in 2014 when I went back to school while in my thirties.....stayed steady only taking one semester off while raising 3 children and 3 part time jobs. Little did I know how much more efficient my life would become while simultaneously becoming wayyyyy more complicated. I created my first email and Microsoft account in January of 2014 on my new laptap purchased through the community college book store. That is still my account with the same password that I am using here. The trouble is this...….. the computer I am currently using belongs to my fiancé outright and he made me a profile for myself for work or leisure so that I would not be on his things and really create chaos in his computer world because I have been known to do it...….accidently of course.....nonetheless...doing it.

ok, so this morning I was on his profile because I was trying to apply for better paying stay at home job and just did not want to download tests or things without him being aware....as this is a new build and I REALLLLY do not want to mess it up.....and staying on his is easier. BUT...I logged into my Microsoft account........this being after a windows 10 update finally after so long of keeping 8.1....and all of a sudden...my Microsoft account has taken completely over and I cant even find his profile anymore. PLEASE IF YOU ARE OUT THERE AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED AND WHAT I SHOULD DO TO FIX IT........FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS SACRED... PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME WITH THE ANSWER!!!! GOD BLESS AND MAY HE HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL IF SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO ALL HIS GAMING FILES........HELP LORD!!

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild


Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
