    Viber Desktop - audio


    I've had Viber Desktop installed for months. But roughly a month ago, the audio suddenly stopped working. I can't hear anything. If someone sends me a video, for example, I can't hear what it's saying. If I try to call someone, they can hear me and I can't hear them.


    I tried adjusting the Audio & Video settings. I tried every output I could and I found one with which I can hear audio. But the audio was still way too quiet. I could barely hear anything with my volume turned all the way up. Today, I tried calling someone and I couldn't hear them at all.


    I have no idea how to fix this or what happened. Does anyone know what's this about?

    On what device do you want to use it?

    Viber from the Store is only available on Mobile devices and Surface Hub.

    You can get Viber for Desktop, as @sygnus21 suggested, to serve as a portal.

    We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

    • Type troubleshooting on the search box.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Recording Audio.
    • Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
