Windows 10: Victus hp 15L Gaming desktop & monitor error CHECK CABLE SIGNAL

I recently received a new Victus hp 15L Gaming desktop, which has Windows 11, for my granddaughter.In trying to hookup this new computer to her Samsung Syncmaster 2220wm monitor which works with her old hp computer, which has Windows 7 I kept getting the following error dancing across the screen: CHECK CABLE SIGNALDo I need a different VGA cable to correctly hookup with this gaming computer?

HP Victus 15L make pc boot on keyboard input

Hello,

I have an HP Victus 15L. I would like to be able to turn it on remotely, but Wake-On-Lan doesn't seem to be working (when I try to wake the computer nothing happens). I have a smart-plug, so I could have the pc boot when connected to power but it doesn't seem to be an option in the bios. I could also make it turn on, when keyboard is pressed and have the keyboard remotely pressed - but again I see no option to have the pc boot on keyboard, power or lan.

Any help would be great!

 

Removing the Message “CHECK CABLE SIGNAL”

Thank you. The given links list various possible causes, including a malfunctioning graphics card, a bad cable, or some hardware problems.

However, my monitor, the graphics card, and the system unit work well. There no hardware problems. The “No Signal” message appears only when the computer is powered off. The monitor works when the computer is running. Previously, there was no “No Signal” message when the computer was not running.

Do you know what the cause of the “No Signal” message may be?

 

Monitor not working - HDMI has no signal

Yesterday, my ASUS monitor was working fine connected to my HP spectrum using Windows 10. Today, the monitor delivers a no HDMI signal message. I have restarted both laptop and monitor, replaced the HDMI cable, updated display driver and still no luck.
Suggestions welcome.
