Windows 10: video access

WIN 10 WORKING OK. VIDEO WORKING OK WHEN USING SKYPE. WHEN I TRY TO OPEN MY SVREEN USING FACIAL RECOGNITION IT TELLS ME IT DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CAMERA. WHAT MUST I DO TO GET SYSTEM WORKING SUCH THAT I HAVE FACIAL RECOGNITION ACCESS RATHER THAN HAVING TO INPUT MY PIN?

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Video playback troubleshooter and check

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Video playback options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to copy the files from your computer to another working computer and check if you are able to access them.

This will let us know if the issue is with specific files types on your computer.

Unable to access videos, either from YouTube or news

• Are able to access the videos stored locally on your hard drive?
• Which browser are you using to access these websites?
• Were you able to see any error message/ notification while trying to play videos?

If you are using Internet Explorer as a browser then,

Step 1: I suggest you to run Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter and check.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box from the desktop and select
  Troubleshooting.
• Select View All in the left pane of the windows.
• Click on Internet Explorer Performance and follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to open the Internet Explorer in no add-ons mode and check.

• 
  Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon
  on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Tap or click the Tools button
  
  , and then tap or click
  Manage add-ons.
  
• 
  Under Show, tap or click All add-ons, and then select the add-on you want to turn off.

  Tap or click Disable, and then tap or click

Step 3: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to install the latest Adobe Flash Player and check.
