    Video decoding stops in video players when resized


    So here's the issue and what I've done to try to fix itand failed. Issue: In multiple video players, possibly unimportant, but they are UWPACG Player, and Windows Medias Playerthe new official windows 11 uwp version, but not all UWP players have this issue. When watching any video, if I attempt to resize the video, or it resizes as a result of Windows snap, the video will either freeze, or go blank, but will technically continue playing, as the timeline will proceed, and audio is heard. If you peer into Task manager, you can see video decoding stops as soon as this occurs. I also don't ow

    Video decoder for Windows Media Player in Windows 10

    I am looking for a video decoder that will work with Windows Media Player in Windows 10. I have Power DVD 10 and VLC installed on my computer, but they both do not seem to be compatible with the Windows 10 version of WMP. Can someone please make some suggestions?

    We updated to Windows 10 and it gave us the new video player. We were fine with it, however it now says that it cannot decode the video. It plays some of the video then does an error or does not detect that the video is there in the first place. It worked
    fine for several days then it didn't. Just wondering if there is something I need to do or a suggestion for a reliable video player. I rely heavily on DVD's for entertainment since I am bed ridden and am unable to do much else. Please fix this issue if at
    all possible.

    Me three !!!! I went from being able to watch DVDs to not at all ! How did it one day disappear ? I need a simple action to install a decoder.....HELP
