Windows 10: Video dxgkernel error

About 6 months ago I used to get blue screen error VIDEO DXGKERNEL ERROR when playing specific games like plateup or automachef and believed it was a unity game engine issue. After roughly 1 hour or 2 hours the pc would crash and restart consistently but after a week it stoppedAnd now again after 6 months I'm getting a video dxgkernel error in about 5 mins of startup consistently and after the blue screen the screen becomes black and no changes my keyboard lights work after which I force shutdown and start it up again then the fans spin for 2 secs then stop and black screen again multiple time

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.
