DVD doesn’t play in Windows DVD Player

Ideally, the Windows DVD Player will play movies that are on optical discs. However, we will need the details requested below:

• Could you please provide more clarity on “will not play my DVD home movies”?
  
• What is the complete error message you receive?

I just downloaded the DVD player and it is not playing my videos and suggestions?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to run built-in app troubleshooter and check if you are able to play videos.

Follow these steps to run the Windows in built troubleshooter. This is a diagnostic which helps to identify any potential driver related issues present in your PC.

a) Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

b) Click on Troubleshooting tab.

c) Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
