MP3 Files Not Recognized By Windows 10 When Adding To A Video Editor

    Hello,

There are a lot of possible reasons why the MP3 files unrecognizable when adding to a video editor. This may be due to limitations of supported file formats or the video editor that you are using needs to be updated. To isolate the issue, we'd like to ask
    a few questions:

    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • Did you successfully add a MP3 file to your video editor before?
    • What's the application that you are using when editing a video?

We are looking forward to your reply.

  3. MP3 Files Not Recognized By Windows 10 When Adding To A Video Editor

Most of these video editors in the app store ask for MP3 files. Yet when I go to the folder with my MP3 file it is not recognized as a file type that windows can read. Yet the MP3 file plays fine in iTunes.

MP3 Files Not Recognized By Windows 10 When Adding To A Video Editor

I am using the Kinderjoy Video Editor and Slideshow Maker from the Windows app store. As you can see in this screenshot, when I click on 'Add Music' it does not list any sound format files such as .wav or .mp3 despite the fact that the audio file is in that
folder. This has happened in about 2 other video editors I downloaded from the app store. This is the first time I have tried to use an editor from the app store.
