Windows 10: Video Editor in Windows 11 Exports with No Audio April 2022

Hi there! I've been using the Photos Video Editor app in Win 11 for a while now, and never had any issues with it exporting with/without audio. I've tried every fix that I could find through Google, none of them worked, so here I am on Windows help. The fixes I tried were: messing around with most of my audio settings, at least the ones that they recommended playing around with, still no luck. I tried checking my audio drivers, every single one is up to date. Tried restarting my computer, tried restarting Windows Audio services, and still no luck. Tried disabling and reenabling the hardware ac

Video Editor Export

Thank you for your feedback.

When using the video editor app, go to the upper right hand part of the window and click on "Finish Video", then click on Export to save it on your desired folder or location.

Once the export has been completed, it should automatically save as an .MP4 file.

You may verify it by doing a right click on the video and selecting properties. The type of file should be "MP4 File (.mp4)".

Windows Video Editor Can't Export

Hello, I'm trying to export a 4 minute video with audio made in the windows 10 video editor. Whenever I try to export it, I get the message "Something happened and we couldn't export your video. Please restart the photos app and try again. Here's the error
code in case you need it: 0x887A0005"

I have restarted it several times and tried over and over again. My computer definitely has space. There's 194 GB free, and I don't think it should need that much for a 4 minute video. What can I do? I need to export this video.

I suggest you to try with resetting Video Editor:

1. Press WINDOWS + I

2. Click on "App"

3. Digit "Video Editor" in the search bar on the right

4. Click on "Video Editor"

5. Click on "Advanced Option"

6. Scroll down to "Reset"

7. Click on "Reset"

Then retry creating the video and export It.
