Windows 10: Video error while using Logitech webcam software.

Actually what was happening is, my webcam Logitech c615 was flickering due to low light. Hence to adjust that i tried to use the software given by Logitech. whenever i open the application, the webcam works there but while I try to connect it to ZOOM, the webcam doesn't open or turn on the video. I'm on Windows 11. I'd be grateful if anyone could find a solution.

I followed the listed steps and the webcam is performing properly and is recognized by Windows 10, I checked software and driver updates on the Logitech site and the Logitech utility states the software and driver are up to date and working properly. The
only issue I have is with Windows 10 Updates trying to update the Logitech software/drivers in the recent update and that update is throwing the Ox800f0203 error and continues to does so after all of the suggested solutions. Which puzzles me since the Logitech
hardware/software/driver is working properly.

1. Did you try re-installing the Logitech Webcam Software and check? Yes, many times.

2. Just to confirm, do you get any error message or error code while launching Logitech Webcam Software? No, no errors when I try to open it.

I suggest you to install the Logitech Webcam Software in Compatibility mode
and check if it resolves the issue.

A compatibility mode is a software mechanism in which a software either emulates an older version of software in order to allow incompatible software or files to remain compatible with the computer's newer hardware or software. Here's how:

1. Click on Start and select All apps,
locate Logitech Webcam Software, right click
on it and select Open file location.

2. Right click on the setup file of the software and select "Properties".

3. Select "Compatibility" Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to "Run this program in Compatibility mode" and select operating system (Windows 8 or


Windows 7) from the drop down list.

5. Click on Apply, OK and then check the functionality.
