    Video freezes on monitor when on "duplicate" mode


    I am using a laptop connected to a monitor.

    I have switched out the monitor and the cables multiple times, the issue appears to be software.



    When watching video from any source (browser, video player, etc.) on duplicate screen viewing mode, the video freezes upon playback, and occasionally it freezes intermittently. When I switch to extend view mode, the issue is not there. Audio continues normally, the video is just not playable.



    I am looking for a setting that may force the HDMI output to refresh, or anything else that might fix the issue.



    I can provide whatever additional information is required, I'm just not sure what to include.

    Duplicate mode on second monitor

    I’ve purchased a new monitor and connected it to my HP laptop running Windows 10. It is working without any problems especially in extended mode. But I’d like to work in a duplicate mode. When I
    press Windows Key + P and click on the option for duplicate displays, one display goes blank.
    Why? Thank you.

    Windows 7 - Cannot duplicate the monitor to my Samsung LCD

    Hello, everyone!
    I'm trying to duplicate a monitor to my Samsung LCD but Windows 7 says that it's unable to save the changes each time I click APPLY after selecting DUPLICATE screens option. WIN+P also doesn't work - I can only see what's going on either on my pc monitor (in Projector Only mode) or TV (in Computer Only Mode).

    Both TV and monitor are using 1920x1200 resolution and they are connected via HDMI 1.4, Graphic Card is MSI Radeon 6950.

    Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Edge/Explorer freezes up windows when I plug in second monitor

    I don't see any windows.old files
    Here is my version:

    I ended up resetting my entire computer and the problem is still here. I did figure out it only happens when I go into extend mode with the second monitor. ie. I can have the monitor plugged in in duplicate mode and it works fine. Windows explorer only freezes up the start menu when I switch to extend,
