Windows 10: Video Games/Other Demanding Tasks Running Slow

Within the past month, I have been experiencing stuttering and sudden lag in the video games that I play. I have an NVIDIA 1050 Ti GTX on the Dell XPS 15 9570, and this has been sufficient for me to get the performance I needed in times past. However, for some reason, this has changed. Even Chrome seems to be running slower than usual. I suspect that I have driver issues, but I do not know what to fix. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling new drivers and turning off Vertical Sync. Please let me know what I can do

I would suggest you to run maintenance task and check if it helps.

The Run maintenance task checks issues that might slow down your computer's, such as how many users are currently logged on to the computer and whether multiple programs are running at the same time.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Run maintenance task under

Window's Task Scheduler Not Running
