Windows 10: Video lagging behind audio while streaming

Hi,

I have been using this laptop (Dell inspiron 15r SE) since more than 4 years and it has worked flawlessly.
Although recently I have noticed that while streaming on any browser at more than 720p@60 the video starts to lag behind the audio and it becomes quite annoying.
As a temporary fix I have to seek it back or forward a couple seconds before it re-syncs but later it starts desyncing again.
The native resolution has been FHD and I have a decent internet connection.
I use Firefox(Beta) natively but have also tried to stream on chrome but the problem persists.
Also to confirm that it wasn't the hardware that was grossly outdated I played a native 1080p video without any syncing issues.

Any help regard this would be great.

Video Lag

The problems with my video playing happens when I am watching all kinds of videos, e.g. when streaming videos off the internet in both I.E. and MS EDGE when watching Youtube videos, AND when watching live streaming through the Internet (e.g.
with BT Sport). It also lags when I watch downloaded videos from my hard drive.



I haven’t consciously made any changes to my Windows 10 system.



My internet speed is good, I am getting 30+mps from my service provider, BT.



As for investigations by myself, I wouldn’t know where to look. However just a suggestion, whilst the main issue is video lagging behind audio, I am getting situations where my live streaming just sticks for a couple of seconds, then sort of
catches up again, which might be something to do with buffering maybe?



Can you help? Is it possible to increase the buffer size?

N79 tv-out output is choppy.

Hi, everyone.

I have a Nokia N79 with Europe firmware (Italian), no branded.

The issue appears trying to view photos, youtube streaming or videos on a TV.

I tried plasma, lcd and normal televisions without success.

I see both video and audio but video is very slow while audio runs perfectly.

The videos on phone lags during playback, too. As I unplug the cable the video turns smooth.



I have the 11.049 firmware.



I would appreciate your help.
