Windows 10: Video Length not showing / can't use timestamps etc

    Video Length not showing / can't use timestamps etc


    I saw a previous post about this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/no-video-length-data-in-file-explorer/b6d938d9-2c4c-4234-9abd-720c9fc72a86 but there was no answer so...I have 3 files in my videos folder that I can check size / when it was modified etc. as well as can play them normally however, I cant see the video length, cant use the "timeline" at the bottom nor can I use the "skip forward" or "skip back" features. When I try to Trim the video the time shows "256204778:48:05". I thought it might be since the video is long and its old but I have an older video th

    No video length data in File Explorer

    Duration. The other file attributes (file name, size, date created, etc.) all show up but not video 'length' i.e. duration. When I copy the same files to a different directory or PC, the length data still doesn't appear, but the data was there when the
    video file was first created/generate.
