Windows 10: video settings?

If i am playing a movie online, say from Amazon Prime,etc., while using my battery ONLY, should I be using the settings in Windows 10 that are called Video settings? What dod I need to change on the laptop anywhere in terms of settings? My battery drains fast. Its not convenient to use the laptop to watch where I plug it in.What would be the best thing to do? I have about a six hour battery, computer new in Nov. Thanks.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

I suggest the following simple steps:

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.
