Windows 10: Video TDR failure and Video scheduler internal error causing Blue Screen Of death

'video scheduler internal error' Blue Screen of Death on Windows 10.

Hello:

At least once a day either my screen goes completely black and I need to hold the power button down to restart, or I get a Blue Screen of death with a 'video scheduler internal error' error.

I check my display adapters (Intel HD graphics 520 & NVIDIA GeForce GPU and both drivers are up to date.

Any help would be appreciate.

Blue Screen - Video TDR Failure

Hello

I have had 2 blue screen system failures this morning. Both of them with the message Video TDR Failure. The message advised me to contact support and quote igdkmd64.sys.

The system was installing Windows Updates at the time so that is my prime suspicion. The update that was successfully installed was Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics. It appears twice at the top of the list of updates for some reason.
